This one-of-a-kind upcycled vintage lace skirt is handmade from a beautiful cotton lace curtain in warm white and brown, reimagined as a traditional three-tiered peasant skirt with plenty of volume, movement and swoosh.

The elasticated waistband makes it comfortable and easy to wear, while the entire skirt is lined with soft cotton so the vintage lace feels gentle against your skin. Three gathered tiers give it that lovely exaggerated shape- the kind of skirt that begs to be twirled around in.

It's folkloric and romantic at first glance, but there's something a little mischievous about turning a humble old lace curtain into a huge, swishy skirt.

This is the matching half of a two-piece set with the Wyrd Grl Lace Curtain Cropped Top. Wear them together for a complete little folk-punk ensemble, or pair the skirt with your favourite tee, knit or battered old band shirt.
